The history of the Gasteiner Einkehr starts in spring 1959.

Our grandparents Franz and Kathi Knauseder built up the "Bergliftstüberl".

They had the aim to serve and feed the guests in the best possible way.

Up to now nothing has changed the family-philosophy. Only business and standards have increased and at the same time the requirements on our family.

The Gasteiner Einkehr was enlarged
in the years 1969, 1980 and 2006.


Today the Aktivhotel is managed by Christine and August Frankhauser and their sons Robert and Karl.
